Here’s where the universe’s best streaming service will be pointing its cameras (and its founder) next. Confirmed events first, rumours and ambitions below.
Next up: Handsome Tim at the 2026 British Open
Saturday 12 September, Symphony Hall, Birmingham. Nineteen of the world’s best bands, one stage, one test piece: Music of the Spheres by Philip Sparke. First band on at 10.00am UK time, which is 7.00pm AEST if you’re playing along from the couch in Australia.
A change of hats for this one: Brassbanned isn’t streaming the Open, but Handsome Tim will be there in person, popping up around the official contest coverage and roaming Symphony Hall with a camera for interviews, get-ready-with-me nonsense and backstage colour. Watch the socials and the channel on the day.
The main event for you at home is Tip the Bell, the world’s first brass band tipping league, now taking on the world’s oldest contest. Rank all 19 bands, free, before the first downbeat. Bragging rights and Brassbanned merch on the line.
