In the Bar closes when the first band takes the stage. Blind tips, built on form, rumour and whatever you overheard at rehearsal.
In the Box opens at the first downbeat and stays open until the last band finishes. Re-order your tips live as you listen. You are no longer predicting the bands. You are predicting the adjudicator. Good luck.
Three titles at every contest: best in the Bar, best in the Box, and The Big Tip for the combined score, whose winner is crowned Top Bell. Ties are settled by The Split: your predicted winning margin in the top grade. Every contest is decided by a split. So is ours.
